JAGRAT BHAV – awake O Man , before it’s too late !!!
“How many kids are in distress, how many destitutes.. and without parents !
Thousand hands are less, but His two are sufficient.” — Aparnaji
Rejuvenation’s mission of EDUCATING and SPIRITUALISING underprivileged children with material aids like clothes, academic aids, food, as well as material and moral education, yoga and meditation is showing outstanding results.
It was our Guruma’s vision, “To Touch The Core” to help the children without proper guidance in coping up with the trauma they had been facing in life and also making them feel wanted and appreciated in life and society. The kids living in these orphanages were under-appreciated, ignored and exploited and to change the situation we decided to plant the seed of spirituality into their hearts and with the change they have experienced we truly did Touch the Core.
By the Grace of Guru and God, we, at Rejuvenation, have adopted 3 shelter homes where our volunteers go weekly to teach them yog and meditation and also provide them with moral education to make their roots strong. Children are also given psychological counseling and behavioural guidance, so that they may develop into better human being. We also try to fulfill their monetary needs as much as possible.

Among the various important days,
We celebrate Bhagwan Krishna’s birthday (Janmashtmi ) as the children’s birthday in shelter homes, a unique concept we intuitively developed two years back and are following till date. Not a single eye remains dry when these deprived children cut their own cake. Our young Rejuvenators have promised Aparna ji – “Jeewan main kahin bhi hon hum Janmashtami isi tarah manayenge.”
We celebrate Independence Day in all the three Shelter Homes to break the mental boundaries of cast, creed and money and to induce a sense of national pride.
In almost all other festivals, our children from shelter homes are in some way involved and educated even further.
In our new initiative in December, 2016, we started with JAGRATI, a coaching centre designed specifically for children of domestic helpers, most of which go to government schools, where the quality of education is very low. These kids also face domestic violence regularly, as almost all such families are riddled with unhealthy home atmospheres. In such a scenario it becomes impossible for these kids to develop individually and be anything better than their previous generations. To break this cycle, Aparnaji started this coaching centre free of cost, to not only educate them in mainstream textbooks, but also emotionally, through spiritual education. To make the change complete, we also have parent-teacher meetings every other week, to educate their parents on similar lines.
We now have many kids under the ambit, and the centre runs six days a week. Each child gets personal attention from our appointed teacher and volunteers. They have their curriculums designed and get periodic report cards, on their mental, emotional and educational advancement. In these few months we have seen unprecedented rise in the confidence levels of these kids and their families. They have a direction now.
To be a part of Aparnaji’s all empowering vision, join hands with us by donating or volunteering in the noble cause.
