I am – at rest!
Dispassionate and endowed with supreme equanimity, I see within the Self , the ocean of infinity.
In this windless ocean, waves and droplets come and go like smoke in the sky dissipates fast, leaving it stainless pure.
The covering of smoke hides the sky and projects the colour grey! Its transparency gone, it gets the shape of smoke and also an origin and an end.
A strong wind and a little element of time disperse the momentary darkness and the very next moment the natural unlimited sky – The Aakash – shines back.
At complete loss of duality I am at rest where I see myself seeing (Aakash) and body as a working tool (smoke). The consciousness pervades all and nothing is spared.
Where mind does not seek to be at peace for after the renunciation of all thoughts, the renunciation of IT is established. It need not search for more as more is also a thought. Mukti is taken as desire and renunciation of this too is life.
The ignorant tries to still the mind but even its residue is not what is required. That Self so quiet and at rest is already there seeing the glory of Its Own.
By the slightest touch of desire I look up at the manifestation of the entire Sansaar which blows up as bubble in frothy stream, momentary and weak and fragile. It gives rise to the mighty wave of changeable sansaar. My inclination to do good was the cause of bondage and indifference to be good or bad seeded renunciation.
Abandoning desire, knowing it as the enemy and along with friends, I practice indifference to all. Leaving the gain which is so full of loss, the effect of good deed that is itself the cause and also the inclination for betterment, I establish in perfect state of rest.
The knowledge, all that is knowledgeable and the knower – all three – the understood divisions of That – are not in this Eternal One. The ignorance itself is also nothing- what counterpart could exist without the existence of the previous one, then what knowledge is needed to understand the totality of nothingness? I seek nothing and I rest at everything!
I see the world from a mirror as a part of it and inside it and yet it’s not there for it is a mere impression of a yet another exhaustible Nature. I shine, as mirror and it shines back. The impression of mine does not show any longer for I have changed the angle… the mirror itself, I am at Rest.
